For over 25 years dr. Robin Pistorius assists policymakers and researchers in solving sustainability questions regarding agriculture, biotechnology, biodiversity and water. This work stems from his conviction that the world is on the brink of a new, and necessarily sustainable era. Robin Pistorius' consultancy bureau, Facts of Life, combines scientific research, dialogue, education, and offers advice with eye for composition and detail.
Vavilov-Frankel Award
For Bioversity International (Rome) a monograph on the history of plant genetic resources conservation, funded by a Vavilov-Frankel Fellowship.  
Agro-biodiversity
Production of a series of brochure on typically Dutch biodiversity. Principal: the Centre for Genetic Resources, the Netherland (CGN). Four volumes have been published: on cabbage-, chicken-, tree- and potato species.
Education
